In a picturesque Florida beach setting, Javi Marroquin and Lauren Comeau have officially become husband and wife on April 24.
This intimate ceremony was a family affair, attended only by Javi’s son, Lincoln, from his previous marriage to Kailyn Lowry, and their own children, Eli and Maizee. “Only my dad, our kids & pastor were there,” Lauren shared on Instagram, highlighting the special nature of their big day.
The wedding’s timing wasn’t a predetermined plan. The couple seized a ‘last minute’ opportunity with photographer Jayleigh Flood during their regular Florida vacation. “The trip with my dad was planned before the wedding,” Lauren explained, making it a serendipitous event.
Lauren walked down the aisle in an elegant off-shoulder gown she found in Portland, Maine, while Javi and their sons wore sleek black suits. Little Maizee graced the occasion in a light dress with a charming tulle skirt.
The couple is planning a more extensive reception later this year, where Lauren hopes to wear her wedding gown again, along with something ‘lighter & easier to dance in.’ Until then, the ceremony remains a treasured memory for their family.
